Actually, based on my own discussions with other non-All-Trac owners, it may be possible. I once saw a Toyota Corolla wagon (non-All-Trac), that the owner had put on strut bars; unfortunately, I neglected to ask from where he
got them. So then I went to a junkyard and found two mid-1980s Celicas that both had strut bars, but they did not appear to fit. They were a few inches too long, and I wasn't in the mood to do any serious welding.
But, it has been done before. Check out this Australian guy's
http://www.turbocorolla.com/cars/larsc.htmTurboCorolla. It's the most heavily-modified All-Trac-style (but in Australia it's called a 4WD wagon, but it's functionally identical to the All-Trac) that I've come across. He did an engine swap with turbo and air filter, and a
strut bar, as and other mods. I'll post this in the Models forum as well.
