I read in an online forum that 6th generation Corolla 4x4 AE95 wagons are popular in Australia among teen and  twenty-somethings looking for their first car. So I wasn't surprised to see an eBay Australia listing for one: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Toyota-.....C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318.

Toyota and we would call them "spoilers" and not wings.  As far as being rare, I've only seen them on a few other All-Tracs (one in Tijuana, Mexico), the others on images on the Web.    Supposedly, one can still order a spoiler from Toyota, but it is very expensive part, and it really doesn't do anything for performance; maybe it functioned as a tie-down for luggage.

Yes, I would say it's rare.  Like sun roofs on All-Tracs -- most of the All-Tracs I've seen don't have them and it's probably good: my sun roof has been a bit of a pain; it's electric and jams in the closed position frequently -- the drive cable or the linkage that fits into it is probably off track.

My second '89 SR-5 had a spoiler. It was grey, while the rest of the car was burgundy red. My very first All-Trac (a bright red '90) had the sunroof too - it was cavernous. It worked, but threatened to leak during the winter.

.  My sunroof doesn't leak -- yet, but it does have that problem of being stuck while closed.  So, I managed to get it to open today, and took advantage of that to clean the sunroof guides, and oiling.  It appears to work better, but I've seen that before -- it will work fine for a few weeks, and the inexplicably stop opening for months at a time, and then suddenly start opening again.  The motor seems to function normally (even when closed), so I am guessing it needs new cables or fix for the current cables.  There is also some rust along the weatherstrip gasket; it doesn't leak, but the potential is there.  Sometime when the weather gets less rainy, I plan on removing the sunroof and fixing it up.

My first '90 was the same way - sunroof would work intermittently. It actually never did leak, but I suspected a possibility b/c of oxidation around the edges. So, duct-taped it over the winter just to be sure. Unsightly, but that worked. It's a crying shame they didn't carry over this option into the '91-2 model run. I loved those sunroofs.
