Alright, here's a montage including four of my five All-Tracs. As you can see, the common theme is rojo. For whatever reason, they've all been varying shades of red. Suffice it to say this novelty wore off fast. I'm now ready for another color (like blue). Their other commonality is rust - lots of it. Let's hope that also changes for the next one (if it ever materializes). And yes, there are four. Look carefully behind the middle one...my '89 SR-5 w/the spoiler is hiding in the background.

Wow.  You own 5 All-Tracs at one time?  Spoilers and sun roofs, too.  I like your choice of color but I wonder: there seems to be two types of red: what some people call wine/maroon/burgundy and Toyota calls "medium red pearl" and a more cherry-looking red, similar to the color of the left pic of the All-Trac on this website's masthead.  I prefer the former color.

What other colors do All-Tracs come in?  Dark blue, White, Gold, and Silver, and assorted custom colors such as Dark Green.

BTW, mine is also burgundy/wine/maroon in color.

Well, I didn't actually own them all at the same time. They were (for the most part) purchased consecutively over the course of several yrs.  My two '89s were medium red pearl. That bright red you mentioned was on both my '90s. Other colors I've seen include white, steel blue, navy blue, ocean metallic blue (rare), gold (rare), silver & several two-tone combos like red/tan.

I saw someone on Craigslist selling a gold All-Trac and another wine/maroon All-Trac in Santa Cruz, California; only the maroon one worked.  I would have considered getting it but it is too far away; I don't have the time to fly up there (no direct flights), and drive back.  There doesn't seem to be any for sale in my area lately.  In fact, I've only seen one for sale, and that was several years ago.

I saw that ad - 2 for 1 sale, right? They were both 1st generations w/rust issues, if memory serves. One had a good motor w/higher mileage; the other had lifter damage. That's like building the "Mother of All-Tracs" or something. Cool idea (in a twisted grease monkey way). Too much work for the bother, though.

Bidding has started on a really nice 91 white all-trac. 72,000 original miles. Sorry to say it's auto, but what the heck, 72,000 miles? Forgot to mention Ebay.

Good clean straight body! Well done.

I like seeing these cars well looked after.

Even though my poor white one needs a lot of love...

Corolla 4wd??? Does such a thing even exist???!
