are your balljoints bolted in or riveted? It was nice when I repacked my axles because I just zipped off the ball joint and axle came out easy. Took me a total of about 8-10 mins to get it out (with shop tools of course )

I'm not sure? I'll have to take a look. I hope mine come out that easy.

You guys are such DIY'ers - if I was more mechanically inclined, would've done what little maintenance my 5 All-tracs needed.

Sorry about the language. I haven't been that pissed in a very long time. I FINALLY got some that were right. Today at 5pm right before a 4 day long weekend. If they hadn't been right I would have been looking at next tuesday. I would have gone postal.

Well that being done, finally, I didn't realize just how bad the front end had been. Drives like a new car now. Drained and filled the tranny and front diff as well.

Next week: Headgasket. We'll see how that goes.

Yeah, please try & refrain f/using profanity. The forum filters didn't catch those, but I edited them anyways. Thanks for the apology, nevertheless...

It def. sucks that nobody could get you the right parts over a few days' time. Glad to hear it worked out in the end.

Ya I don't normally use that language but I was doing some extreme venting. I assumed it was going to be filtered anyway. I was surprised when it wasn't. lol. Consider it a filter test.

Have you checked out http://www.toyodiy.com to check part #'s and then go to some place like http://www.parts.com to verify them?  This is what I use to make sure I get the right parts if the old part numbers don't match to a dealers' inventory.  My local dealer has never seen an All-Trac, so they don't know what do when I go in to ask for parts.
