Hey guys I have one dumb question and one relavent question.

-If you take out the front axles and block off the holes in the tranmission will the car effectively be rwd? Or will it basically trash the tranny?

Now for the relavent one
-What size is the drain and fill bolt on the tranmission and differential. I don't have a socket large enough and I dont want to guess what size they are.

For the first question:  Interesting point?  I suppose if you disconnected the drive axles from the wheels, then it would be rear-wheel drive, but I don't think that the car would be able to support itself without those axles.  Better to internally disconnect the drive axles from the transmission.

Second question: IIRC If I recall correctly, I used a 24-mm socket set and a long breaker bar to turn my transmission differential bolt. It was on their tight, same for the rear. If that doesn't work (I don't know if the bolt changed size between model years), I would suggest just trying different sizes.

I was wondering the same thing about RWD. if you pressed the lock button with a manual it should work.
