As anyone who has been in an old car knows, the sun visors, especially the driver's side sun visor, tend to wear out sooner than the passenger sun visor, probably due to all of the moving to block the sun. The advent of good sunglasses has lessened the propensity of visors to get ratty and ripped, but some still do nonetheless. What to do about those ratty sun visors? 1. Buy new ones. Toyota charges around $88 for left, but you can get it discounted to $64 through places like Parts.com. 2. Buy/get new oneGo to a junkyard and get new ones off of a similar color Corrola: difficult to do find unless the junk yard has same color Corolla and same interior color as yours. 3. Get a visor cover or make one of your own: That's what I did. One site that do this are http://www.ineedparts.com/auto-parts/sun-visor-repair-kits.html. I picked light gray for my grey interior; it doesn't have the striped weave characteristic of some All-Trac interiors, but it does match the map light and the hangar handles.
