On another thread, it was written by akpv
Quoted from akpv
Some keywords for the search engines, we need more members! ae95 ae95r corolla 4wd 4x4 lift kit lifted raise clearance.

Can we think of ways to get more members?
Are these vehicles that rare or that unwanted that there aren't enough of us around to make a viable online community?

Take a look at the Celica All-Tracs -- there are only a few hundred of those -- and they have a very busy site http://www.AllTrac.net.  AE95s do not have the sexiness and curves of a Celica All-Tracs.

Perhaps the nomenclature is an issue: All-Trac vs. 4WD vs. Sprinter/Carib vs. ????.  Or perhaps language, look at how many Sprinter/Caribs (from 1988 to 1999) there are in Japan and Russia, but obviously English may not be their first language.

Another example is that of the 4WD Tercel: http://www.tercel4wd.com/forums.
648 members and counting . . .

Perhaps we should change the name of our website?

You both make good points - definitely on the right track....    Things like SR5 & sprinter carib could help....

Clearly outback imports in Canada & websites like reviews.drom.ru/toyota/sprinter_carib in Russia are evidence that these vehicles are popular & selling really well.... I wish we could translate russian

Based on akpv's feedback, I've revised the front page text to include model designations for all the Corolla/Sprinter AWD variations & included the Sprinter Carib moniker, as well. I'll add those keywords to the meta info on that page too...hopefully they might make a difference in the search engines & net us a few more members in the process.
