I will get some pics up soon - what kind of km/l do you get in yours? I get around 10-12km/l, its fairly ok on fuel. I wish it was fuel injected though.... OR A DIESEL a diesel one would be sick! |

I would absolutely love a diesel version of this car, hands down. The one disadvantage would be in winter when its extremely cold, but with the alarm/remote start that I plan on getting, you can set a timer to start it every 2hrs for 15min and it won't freeze up on you.
Plus with a diesel, you can run fry oil and drive long distance for almost nothing! |

Mmmmm I live on a farm and can get diesel for free too But anyway, a silly question, does you exhaust make a slight popping noise when idling when you stand behind it? |

I have no idea what mileage I get, but I'm impressed by how far I get out of a tank & I drive with high octane fuel & a happy lead foot..
From my house to Mt Buller ski fields & back is about 518 kms & my car can do that on a tank.
One night I left the mountains late & there were no servo stations open in the country, my fuel guage was on empty & the car ran for 72km's of very.. very.. careful conservative driving until I found a gas station
...To be fair it was almost entirely a down hill run cruizing at around 100 to 110 ks an hour ...I'm sure I was seconds away from konking out tho' I was sh*ting myself we wouldn't make it back to the outskirts of the burbs |

that's often related to a cracked exhaust manifold ... common problem with this car but it could be a hole in muffler too

Might not you consider upgrading to a fuel-injected engine, or perhaps you can find a fuel-injected version? After years of driving a non-fuel injected version of various cars (Dodge, Chevy), my first fuel injected cars were like dream. No more carburetor tinkering! |

Yeah I find the economy is good enough that swapping engines will never pay itself off - the carb motors are good |

I am unsure of what I want anymore - someone crashed into my Alltrac came to it last week in the morning and someone had been doing burnouts, and smashed the back of their car into the side of mine and drove off. Right on the front drivers pillar. I still drive it to work but its making all sorts of weird noises, best to just buy a new car |
