....from houston, tx.....1990 SR5 alltrac corolla

color is bown with 190k on the clock, replaced all gaskets including head gasket, water pump, timing belt, clutch (it's a 5 speed) and brakes.

next is to replace struts and then on refinishing the exterior trim pieces. only bad spot on car is that it has a dent under drivers side tail light, but i should be able to get that out.

Welcome!  Nice to see another one that hasn't succumbed to rusting out.  I want to see a pic of that dent... it wouldn't happen to look like mine (in my avatar) would it?

Welcome.  Your AE95 A-T has those wide side mouldings as does mine (an 198.  I'm not sure why others came with the thinner side mouldings.

I wonder if that's a trim level difference?  SR5 = wider molding, DLX = thinner molding?  My wagon has thinner moldings (see pic in my signature link).

Hello, I too am a new Corolla All-Trac owner from Seattle!
Also this is my first post here- I bought the car just yesterday
It needs a clutch and a muffler, and has some body damage similar to yours- I wonder if some folks don't tend to have a little too much fun in the snow and bung up the corners like that.

Welcome koanhead! from what I've read muffler is a common problem, mine is making a heck of a rattle too. =)

I hope you have a decent garage and a cherry picker to get at that clutch... you learn a lot about the car in short period of time. good luck

My new wagon went into the shop today for its $900 new clutch. It took me a while to reconcile myself to paying half again the car's purchase price to get it fixed, but the place I took it will do it right, resurface the flywheel, new rear main seal, etc.
I would love to have been able to do the job myself, but I have no garage. Also I'm honestly not sure if I'd want to attempt it even if I could!

I know I am posting late, but perhaps for future readers: If you are mechanically inclined you can do the clutch yourself and save a bundle. eBay is a great resource to buy clutches.  If you drive carefully, and don't overdo things too much, you can get a lot of miles out of the clutches.  My original clutch lasted 203K miles.
