It's the end of an area.

Yes, indeed, today I am taking possession of a 2001 Corolla S-type.

I shall therefore parted with my beloved 1992 All-Trac.

This car served me very well during last 7 years and has successfully crossed 353 000km (220 000mi) without major repair. God that car is solid !

Rust and its recent loss of the rear bumper (rust) brought me to replace this car…. it would probably be able to eat another good 100 000km of road.

Because I live in Quebec, it is impossible for me to buy a RHD Toyota Carib.

I will have to drive a FWD car while I had an All-Trac since 1999.

If I can’t sell it to another guy who can beat it to dead for 500$ the car will join my other 1990 sedan All-trac in the Corolla paradis.

Since I am retiring from this forum, I wish you and your car my most sincere greetings.

Sorry to see you and the All-Trac go.  Hopefully someone can buy it and maybe try to repair some of the rusted areas?  I suppose if they had the money and time and desire

Sad to see one of these potentially retiring, but also quite sad to see a knowledgeable person retiring from the forums! David takes with him lots of All Trac experience!

God Speed to you and your Corolla's, no matter what year they may be! =D

**EDIT** - P.S. David, if you are going to scrap that car, think about selling me the bumper reinforcement mount, the piece that bolts into the car, and then the plastic bolts onto it. IF it has the longer style mounts like my Japanese wonder, I would gladly give you a hand full of twoonies, and of course pay shipping via greyhound.

Yikes... I don't like thinking about it being in the scrapyard.  But if that were so, I'd love the rear brake light cover, and the roof antenna (unless that wouldn't fit my LHD wagon).

And I don't remember seeing pics of your wagon, David.  Unless it's because I'm too new

Hey les amis.

I live in Montréal, Québec.

I will be very happy to ship you some little part for a descent price if you want…. And… if I can’t sell it in the next few days.

Just figure the shipping price by FeDex or something else by using my postal code J5W 3H3.

Write me what you need and I will reply you with a fair price. (In Canadian money)

Figure I want make it simple

Don’t put to much faith since, like I write you, I will try to sell it first.

You can see a pic of my Corolla (with my Green Machine!) in 2007.

This is where the rear bumper failed ! The 2 bracket that fix  the bumper to the frame was so rusted so it both broken where it fix to ''bumper cross member'' I still have the foam and the bleu plastic protector.

I need the front metal pieces that fix to the bumper to the frame, if they are not rusted badly!
