Hey everyone...Just picked up a 1992 Sprinter Carib! I was trying to find an all-trac/carib to buy for a while. I see them everywhere in my town..but they're hardly ever up for sale. Actually I just saw a duplicate of my car parked downtown a couple of days ago...I thought someone had stolen mine!

Anyways, the last owner had an unfortunate parking accident..chipped the paint, and now it's starting to rust. I've been looking online but can't find my code of paint. The color code says 22S, trim FD13. Anyone know where I can find this kind of paint? I'm in need of both the black and gold....oh and if anyone knows where I could find another front bumper, I would love to hear it

First of all, that is one great-looking Sprinter/Carib.  It seems to have all the bells and whistles. Even a roof rack and sunroof.
Where did you get it?  I assume you are in Santa Cruz, California.  I've seen several AE95s in that area myself.

As far as paint, you may need to take it to a Toyota dealer to cross-reference the paint code.  It appears that the color of your wagon is black, which corresponds to Toyota codes 202 and 204.  But I cannot be sure from the photos alone since digital cameras can interpret light differently, and since my computer monitor also displays colors that may not match precisely.

Lastly, do you find RHD significantly different than LHD?

Thanks Datsa, actually I'm from Nelson, BC. I do ride a Santa Cruz bike though . I picked up the car in Vancouver, from a guy who bought it at J Cruisers (www.jdmparts.ca)

That's probably what I'll end up doing once it's insured. Right now it's sitting in the driveway waiting for my old 4runner to sell. A few minutes ago I was looking through the japanese manual, and found that someone has penciled 205 and 6L7 beside a picture of a touch up spray can. Looking online, I've found 205, but 6L7 doesn't seem to exist....

At first RHD was a little scary driving in traffic but after 10 minutes so I got used to it. Doesn't seem much different now! The only issue I find is turning left at an intersection when someone on the other side is also turning left. Makes it a little hard to see around them... Thanks for your help!

Sorry about the mix up in places or countries.  I used to live in the San Francisco Bay Area (where I bought my A-T), and saw some of these in the city of Santa Cruz.  So I got the place names confused with the name of a bicycle.
