Hey Guys,

Just recently found this site, so i thought id upload a few pics of my old 1989 Green AE95 Wagon with a 4AGZE that i turbocharged.

Queensland, Australia

I sold it 4-5 years ago now
Mods:
Front body kit,
18inch rims
Lowered King Springs
4AGZE, with standard GZE internals and standard computer running 12psi all day every day.
T3 Turbo,
Custom Exsaust manifold
Intake manifold from a 100kw 4AGE
3 inch dump pipe and exsaust system
BOV
Custom Front mount Intercooler and piping
Clutch from the 4AGZE halfcut - lasted for years...
Standard brakes
Standard gearbox and drivetrain

Ran a 14.3 quarter mile time @ 94mph on 12psi.
And had 130kw @ all 4 wheels when it was tuned.

PLEASE DONT ASK HOW THE GEARBOX HANDLED!!  Im sick of everyone saying a 20valve or GZE will break the gearbox!!!
The guy who bought it off me, installed a microtech computer on it, wound it up to 18psi and did red-limter 4 wheel skids in it quite often.  He said he wanted to break the gearbox, but couldn't!!

As 'Kebin' will show on his thread, the internals of the gearbox are very similar to the Celica GT4.

Feel free to ask any questions, enjoy the pics.

Lars

This one was one i picked up with the 20valve and 2 1/2 inch exsaust already put in... I just repainted part of the car to colour code the whole thing, and replaced the whole interior from a shitty XL model to an awesome SR5 blue velour interior and dashboard.
IF YOUR CONFUSED ON A 20V or 4AGZE then get a 4AGZE 100%!!!!!  You need the extra torque from the supercharger to get the whole car going plus the AWD drivetrain.  Plus you can always up the boost or turbocharge it later if you get bored.
A 20Valve will just give you a few extra revs in each gear change - That is it!

Hey Lars and Kebin, Thanks so much for sharing. Totally appreciate what you have done. I think that these are very underrated cars. Bet you have blown away a few WRX's in your time in a car that is totally unique. Well done!

Another one...!  Thanks for posting!  Yeah I think a 4AGZE would be the way to go, seeing what you guys have done.

I wonder if these wagons will become "sleepers," in that it's something that gets modified and people who see us driving around don't expect us to be fast

I AM LOVING IT!

Lars I've eyed your wagon about 50 times on as many different days just wishing I could have your car! =P
Then Kebin shows up, and really cemented my love for these wagons!

You two are awesome, and theres no doubt in my mind when I'm done throwing my money at education I'm gonna start throwing a little towards my car. =)
